When searching the forum I found one post by Acer Mary (Nov 16) saying the Swift 3 could be charged via USB-C under following power specification: 19.5V 2.25A. Though found another post by some other Acer rep now in february saying it might not be able to charge through USB-C afterall.. The new Acer Swift 3 laptop comes with two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm combo jack for audio. Both USB Type-C ports are USB 3.2 Gen 2 with support Thunderbolt 4.
For $1,199 / £1,199.99 / AU$1,599.99 you can grab a version of the Acer Swift 3X with an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSB. you can always use the USB-C port to charge up
Even basic business laptops allow charging via USB. Yes, because basic business laptops have a completely different intended use. A powerful Gaming Laptop will probably only run around 2-3 hours even when it has a large battery. They aren't really intended for extended use while using the battery.

The Acer Swift 3 is another laptop you can charge with a power bank. It's cheap and affordable. However, unlike the Dell XPS and M1 MacBook Air, you'll need a powerful power bank with at least 60W or 65W USB-C port to charge it at full speed.

There are also some basic troubleshooting steps you can follow. Otherwise remove the battery completely from the laptop and try running the laptop using the AC adapter. If you can use the computer for a couple of hours without problems, the adapter is obviously okay. Clean the battery contacts. Replace the battery and try charging it again. In this video I test out USB C / Thunderbolt Charging on the Acer Swift 5 and see which chargers work and which wont work. I test laptop chargers, powerbanks 9IL6wK.
