They remade the entire game from the start. They could have added ton of improvement to the original experience. They didn't and it feels pretty damn outdated thanks to that. Mafia 2 definitive edition is twice the game Mafia 1 definitive edition is and it's just a remaster of Mafia 2, and not even a remake.

Because Mafia II DE is a REMASTER. Mafia 1 DE was a REMAKE of the original Mafia (2002) game. Mafia II DE is mostly the same as the original one that was released back in 2010. I skiped the DE and bought the original 2010 game. No bugs that I recall. And it's a wonderful game so yes get on it! Yeah I had more issues on PS5 than I did on PS4. On PS5 on the cathouse mission (when Vito returns from being, err, gone), there was a huge part of the map where I would fall through. wf73d.
